APPEARANCE: A medium sized orange and white tom cat with amber eyes.
PERSONALITY:
Firepelt is the kind of cat who tries to go out of his way for his Clan. His father was a rogue who abandoned his mother after he got his way with her, and the whole Clan knows it because she was so upset about it. Because of this, the only kit feels like he needs to prove himself to his clan.. Over and over again. He isn't really sure if anyone in the clan looks down on him for his heritage, he just assumes it. After all, he's heard all his life how sorry loners and kitty pets are.. And since he's half loner, does that make him sorry too? These thoughts have plagued him his entire life, and with no family in the Clan, there is no one he can be sure loves him.
When you get past the whole trying to prove himself thing, you find a very kind and happy tom. He loves to have a good time, and often got in trouble as an apprentice for getting other apprentices in trouble. He was the cat that put the others up to it, but didn't do it himself. He got away with quite a bit this way, but eventually started feeling bad and turned himself in. Even now, as an older cat, Firepelt loves to have a good time. He would rather tussle with kits in the nursery than go out and fight. He doesn't mind hunting, he is rather good at it, but when it comes to fighting.. He just has trouble. He is as good at fighting as any cat, but he just doesn't like the idea of hurting someone else.
Firepelt is very protective of the things that he loves. Even though he doesn't like fighting, one thing he doesn't mind fighting over is someone he loves. His friends are very important to him, and he would give his life for them without thinking about it. Firepelt really would be an excellent protector of his clan if he was closer to more cats in it. But Firepelt has alienated himself without much of a reason. He alienated himself out of the assumption that the cats in his clan didn't like him.
