Doveflight
She-Cat, 36 Moons
RANK: Deputy
ALLIANCE: GoldenClan
APPEARANCE: A slender dusty brown and white she-cat with yellow eyes.
PERSONALITY: Doveflight is very outgoing and bubbly. She loves to make new friends, and loves to try to help others when she can. Normally Doveflight is nice, but she is not always this way. Once you make her angry, then she tends to hold a grudge. She is not the type to forgive easily either. You have to work to get her trust, and if you break that trust, then you are crow food to her.
Doveflight also can come off as rude sometimes. She has a weird, and sometimes harsh way of doing things. As loyal as she is to GoldenClan, she will not always let something through that. She is very defensive of her clan, unless they were wrong. She then does not take a side, and tells the truth how she sees fit. Normally she tries to keep her temper under control, but not always can she do so.
The dark side of Doveflight is her anger. She can be cold-blooded, and sarcastic, depending on what mood hits her. She likes to be nice to cats, but her anger can get to her, and she can snap when she wants to. She takes all things seriously, and would not disobey her leader unless she thought it was wrong, and unjustified. That is where her downfall comes in.
Likes: Loyalty, Hunting, Helping, being a good member to the clan, fighting, training.
Dislikes: Mockery, sarcasm, cats that don't take things seriously, and outsiders.
REASON FOR NAME:Doveflight, is very graceful, and she received her name from a dove that flew above before she was born.
FAMILY: Mother: Dawnheart-(deceased), Father: Graypelt (deceased) Siblings: Silverkit (Deceased), Streamkit(deceased)
HISTORY:
Kithood:
Doveflight was born to Goldenclan, to her mother and father. Her mother died during giving birth to her litter. For a few short moments they thought Doveflight, or Dovekit at the time wasn't going to make it. She was the last born of the litter of 3 kits. Thankfully the young kit started breathing. She was raised by another queen, whom she called mother for a long time before finding out she was not her real mother.
The queen was named Yarrowheart. She was one of the oldest queens, but happened to save Doveflight and her two sisters Silverkit, and Streamkit. Doveflight was forever thankful, and was very pained to see the queen die when she was four moons old. She sneaked out one cold night to explore the territory afterwards, and visit the queens grave. As she tried to go back to the camp, she fell into a nasty bunch of reeds that had thorns near them. That is how she got her scar. Dovekit didn't get over the death that quickly. but eventually when she hit her sixth moon she did. She was finally becoming an apprentice.
Apprentice Moons:
Dovepaw began training as a full blown apprentice at her sixth moon. She enjoyed it so much, and felt like her mentor had taught her a lot. She knew that it would get harder though, and personally she liked the challenge. That is how she learned to never give up, and her mentor and her trained very hard every chance they could.
Eventually over time Dovepaw developed a sort of anger. No one could explain it, but when she was angry, she was mean. She would be harsh to other apprentices, and try to boss them around. She found out later after an apprentice put her in her place, that she was not exactly the strongest cat in the world.
Moons passed, and she became a better fighter and a better cat in general. She improved on her anger problems, and learned to control them. She then went back to her soft, and kind side that she still has to this day. She was made a warrior at her twelve moon mark and was named Doveflight, just as her mother had always wanted it to be.
Warrior Moons:
Doveflight was loyal to her clan, and hunted every chance she could. She knew that sometimes she was needed in the clan to watch over the other cats, but most of the time she wandered off anyway. She figured they could protect themselves. The end was put to that though when she was told to watch her clan for 3 moons until she could prove she was more responsible as an warrior. She did not like it, but she did it anyway.
When she hit her twenty fourth moon, the leader of Goldenclan assigned her an apprentice of her own, Vanillapaw. She knew she had to grow up then, and quickly decided to teach her apprentice fighting moves that same day. The two of the cats were very close until Vanilllpaw got injured fighting another apprentice. The young she-cat took a turn for the worst, and died moons later. Doveflight for the longest time did not ever recover. She felt useless, and like that she didn't need to do anything.
Eventually she pulled of the the stage of sadness, and resumed her warrior duties again. She, to this day has not taken an apprentice because of what happened to Vamillapaw.
RP EXAMPLE:
She smiled at the she-cat, named Feathertail, who seemed to be lost in thought. Doveflight flashed back to her kithood. She remembered that moment of her life so distinctively. Her sisters and her would stay up until dawn, laughing and playing. She missed the days that she could actually have fun. Now she was older, and the clan needed her to be there and be serious. She learned when she was an apprentice to take all matters seriously. She could not joke around anymore. If something were to happen to her clan mates, she had to be ready to defend them, and make sure no one harmed them.
It seemed like in every moment she woke up, she was constantly reminded of the code. She knew she had to fight, die, and hunt for the clan. That was her duty, and as recent, she had been doing much more of it. The clans were at war with each other. They were always supposed to get along, but every cat knows that there are differences between clans. She was accepting that she could not resolve every problem. She learned she had to be tough on her own, and couldn't let others discourage her.
The silver she-cat broke her thoughts, as she meowed quietly,"What do you think of this whole thing with the clans?" Doveflight remembered that week so clearly. There were so many deaths and bloodshed that week. She knew that she had to keep moving ahead though and never look back. Swishstar, her beloved leader was dead now, and they never did find the former deputy Silvercreek. At least that of what she heard.
She sighed and meowed softly, "Every cat, even Starclan knows there will always be differences between clans. There will be much hostility and hatred. It's natural, and has existed since our ancestors. I personally think that there so be a neutral, where cats can have their differences, but not cause so much bloodshed. No one likes death, unless you are a rogue. I am pained to see that we lost so many, and I probably will never look and these clans the same for it. I cannot hold it against them though...."
She trailed off in silence, and lay her head on her paws. She was so frustrated she couldn't do more for her clan mates. She felt very defeated, but she knew the clan would recover, and that was all that mattered to her.
