<---- BROWNTAIL
she-cat, 30 moons
RANK: Warrior
ALLIANCE: BoulderClan
APPEARANCE: Large, brown tabby-and-white she-cat with amber eyes.
PERSONALITY:
Despite being from the ambitious BoulderClan, Browntail is actually a very sweet cat, much to the contrast of her brother, Badgerthorn. Now, don't get her wrong. She is loyal only to her Clan, and can be vicious whenever she needs to. But when cats of BoulderClan are involved, she is kind and considerate. Another quality of Browntail's is that she is honest, no matter the circumstance. If she's done something wrong, she'll let you know almost immediately. She absolutely refuses to disobey the Warrior Code, as if she might be struck down by StarClan themselves if she were to do so. Much of her personality can be attributed to that of a queen, even though she's never had any kits of her own, making her very motherly. She will often check up on any queens the Clan might have at the time, and she'll even play with the kits whenever they're allowed outside.
Browntail is very patient, especially with apprentices and kits. She's fairly patient with warriors, as well, but she is quite capable of snapping at them if they're overbearing or just plain mouse-brains. Despite that, however, Browntail is pretty shy. She would prefer to just listen in on conversations rather than take part in them. Her self-confidence wavers a lot, so she has it in her mind that the other cats always think poorly of her whenever she speaks her mind. This, of course, also means that when she does speak, whatever comes out of her mouth will end up being pretty well thought out.
When it comes to cats of other Clans, Browntail seems to transform into a completely different cat. Because she doesn't care what they think of her, she can speak to them with no problems. But this doesn't mean she ends up having nice conversations with them; quite the opposite, in fact. Following her brother's influence, Browntail usually finds herself insulting cats from the other Clans whenever they try to speak to her at the Gatherings. She is a superb fighter, because she doesn't mind hurting rival Clan cats, and can be ferocious towards them. This also means that her loyalty towards BoulderClan will never falter.

HISTORY:
Brownkit was born into a litter of two, including herself and her brother, Badgerkit. They spent the first couple of moons in the nursery, getting stronger and healthier, and also opening their eyes. Brownkit was a shy kit, but she still remained a trouble maker when she followed the influences of her brother. She would always follow his lead, no matter how dangerous or how much trouble it would cause their parents. Whenever they got the chance, Badgerkit would typically persuade her to join him on an epic adventure that would take them outside the nursery, and sometimes even outside the camp walls. By the time they were four moons old, they were already begging and pleading to be made apprentices, even after the adults told them they were still too young.
But at six moons, Brownkit was made Brownpaw, an apprentice alongside her brother, Badgerpaw. In fact, she was so excited to finally be an apprentice that her entire body was shaking during the ceremony. She couldn't wait to get to explore the territory with her mentor, but unlike Badgerpaw, she also didn't mind having to stick around and start out with elder jobs. Brownpaw was simply proud to carry the title of apprentice at all. Soon enough, she was doing hunting and fighting sessions out in the territory with her mentor almost daily. Until one day when Badgerpaw left the camp with his mentor, and she had to stay behind. She'd been assigned to elder duty that day, but she still watched her brother leave and yowled a 'goodbye and good luck' yowl to him. Other than that, it was just another day; or so she thought it would be. While bringing mouse bile to the elders' den to place on their ticks, a loud yowl sounded; it was an alarm. Brownpaw had barely enough time to react when she saw the glowing orange eyes of a fox that had invaded the camp. She dropped the mouse bile, freezing at the sight. The fox was coming right at her, and she had barely enough fight training to know what to do in a situation like that. So she ducked, hoping to weave her way under it as it lunged at her, but she wasn't going to make it.
Before the fox could get to her though, another cat jumped beneath it and kicked it away. And when Brownpaw looked up, the fox's yelp filling her ears, she recognized him immediately. It was her father, Frostface, who had come to her rescue. Frozen, Brownpaw simply watched as Frostface tumbled over and over in a vicious fight with the fox, while many more BoulderClan cats came to help. She really wanted to help too, but somehow her fear overtook her. Then it happened. The fox clamped it's fangs around Frostface's neck just as the rest of the Clan leaped at it. They were enough to drive the fox away, but they had been too late; Frostface was dead as soon as he hit the ground. Brownpaw wailed and yowled over her dead father's lifeless body, screaming her apologies that she didn't help. Her mother, Firefur, came to her side and did her best to comfort her, even though she was crying too. Not long after the attack, Badgerpaw and his mentor returned, and Brownpaw wasted no time in running to him; wailing about what had happened. The ordeal seemed to change Badgerpaw, but Brownpaw somehow let herself get over it.
On the eve of their thirteenth moon, Brownpaw watched proudly as Badgerpaw received his warrior name, Badgerthorn. All traces of sorrow and guilt had seemingly faded from her presence. And about a week later, Brownpaw received her own warrior name; Browntail. She stood proud before the Clan that day, and only wished that her father had been there to see it.
