okay, it's like 2 am here, so if there's a suggestions board.. i've overlooked it, and also if there is already a thread like this i've overlooked it.



anywayyy, i think we should have an apprentice tracking thread. like, whenever anyone finishes a cat, they reply to it and are paired up with a mentor/apprentice. this would help everyone keep it straight and stuff, i suppose xD.

I AGREE WITH GHOSTIE. maybe that could also be a way to make sure apprentices actually had training sessions and grew up to be warriors? so they didn't hang out in apprentice limbo forever.

also, uh: I was thinking of a suggestion earlier, but I didn't know where to put it... so I Ghostie I hope you don't mind if I hijack your thread :U

Would it be worthwhile to tack on a "Clan history" thing to the allegiances that are already posted? Like, how long leaders have been in power, who their successor was, so forth. Also, in a lot of histories (mine included) we've mentioned battles with other clans/rogues or small epidemics as a way to kill off family members or what have you, so maybe we could include those--not only for a point of reference but so all the histories can be semi-consistent. So if we have three characters who lost parents/siblings to illness one winter in a clan we could say that it was the sickness so it doesn't seem like the clan is riddled with greencough or something.

and maybe an NPC list? since a lot of us have characters who haven't been adopted yet but they still exist. so like, you want to RP a patrol but you can't get enough players you can snag a cat off the NPC list for the time being. And maybe list them as a clan member anyway, just link to their adoption thread to show they're an NPC and need to be adopted? Also having elder characters listed as NPCs so that apprentices can complain about them?

hopefully these aren't dumb ideas xD; (and sorry for stealing your thread, ghostie :c)

I was actually thinking about bringing that up with the rest of the staff, the apprentice tracker thing. xD There could be a thread where people post their apprentice and then they get matched to a pre-existing warrior. It would certainly help with organization. :3

Something that was suggested on another site I'm on is a weather regulator. Like under the seasons thing. So the threads replied to on specific days will all have the same weather.

These are all fantastic points.

I would still like to maintain the rule that either myself or Fahrenheit will be assigning the mentors to the apprentices, however. It just makes it easier for us to keep track of, rather than having a bunch of warriors who already have apprentices that we don't know about. Seems pretty disorganized that way. But I will see about putting up an apprentice tracker for people to post in whenever they've made an apprentice so they can be assigned a mentor.

Another thing I was thinking about putting up was a past allegiances thing, so that all the histories which mention the previous leader, deputy, medicine cat, etc. would be consistent.
